This Privacy Policy explains what information the extension accesses, stores, and shares.

Summary (Plain English)

• The extension reads playlist information from the currently open YouTube tab only when you click Export CSV.
• The CSV is generated locally in your browser and downloaded to your device.
• The extension does not upload playlist data to any developer-owned server.
• The extension stores only your settings (e.g. default export options) using Chrome storage.

Information the Extension Accesses

When you start an export, the extension may read visible metadata from the active YouTube playlist/watch page, including:

• Playlist item position
• Video title
• Video URL
• Duration
• View count text (best-effort; may not be available on all layouts)
• Members-only badge (best-effort; based on visible badges)
• Availability status (e.g. available / private / deleted / unavailable)
• Optional: videoId

Information the Extension Stores

The extension stores user preferences via Chrome storage, such as:

• Auto-scroll default on/off
• Include videoId column by default

These settings are stored to improve usability and are not used for advertising.

Information Sharing / Transfers

The extension does not transmit playlist data to a server controlled by the developer. Exported CSV files are created on-device and saved using Chrome’s downloads feature.

Permissions Explanation

• activeTab: Allows the extension to read the currently active YouTube tab when you click export.
• downloads: Allows the extension to download the generated CSV file to your device.
• storage: Allows the extension to store your settings (preferences).
• Host permissions (YouTube playlist/watch pages): Allows the extension to run on YouTube playlist and watch pages in order to read playlist items for export.

Third-Party Services

The extension runs on YouTube pages. YouTube’s own website and services are governed by Google/YouTube’s policies.

Children’s Privacy

The extension is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
